Rocky Mountain Men's Sober Living homes offer a structured, supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery.  Our goal is to provide an affordable sober living facility to those who want to overcome their addictions and pursue a new, healthier lifestyle—free from alcohol and chemical dependency.  We offer a place to feel human again, establish a disciplined life, and regain and maintain a strong program of recovery, all while experiencing the relational support necessary to sustain a sober existence.

We at Rocky Mountain Sober Living feel that there are many ways up the mountain of recovery. We encourage our clients to attend AA, NA, CA, and Celebrate Recovery meetings and to work on the 12 steps found in the big book. After all, they saved the lives of Mike and Joni the owners of RMSL, We do require that our clients work with a certified peer recovery coach. Through our connections, this service is free to you or your loved one. Our guests continue utilizing the techniques they learn through our structured facilities long after they completely reintegrate into their communities.  Our proven program of action becomes a part of their life, which enables them to become successful, caring members of their community, family, and businesses as never before.

We also do a 256-panel lab-tested drug screen once per week. This is what allows us to accept Medical Assisted Treatment clients into our homes. We are able to see the levels that our clients at any given time.

We are a Level II Certified Recovery Residence in the state of Colorado.

At Rocky Mountain Sober Living (RMSL), we understand that often our prospective clients have a hard time getting the program fees together. The good news is that we have access to a couple of different organizations that can help you with that first month's costs. Give us a call, and we can put you in touch with them.

The sober living environment at Rocky Mountain Sober Living (RMSL) is designed for an easy transition, whether you are transferring from an inpatient treatment program or not. To make the process even easier, we have provided a clear packing list below so you can easily prepare for your new sober living experience. If you need any clarification about provided items or things you can or cannot bring into your sober living home, please call our admissions team or fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

We Provide:

  • Linens and bedding

  • Small Dresser

  • Small Nightstand

  • Closet Space

  • Community flat-screen TV with cable

  • Wi-Fi throughout the community

  • Cooking and eating utensils

  • Full-size kitchen appliances

  • Laundry detergent

  • Cleaning supplies

  • Coffee

  • Washer and dryer

To Bring:​

  • Enough clothes for a week or more.

  • Toiletries and hygiene products (i.e. toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, etc.)

  • Money for transportation (bus passes, Uber, gas, etc.)

  • Personal electronics (laptops, tablets, and game consoles)*

  • Cell phone**

  • Food and non-alcoholic drinks

  • Tobacco (if you use it) Smoking outside in our designated area is allowed

 

Not to Bring:

  • Personal furniture (i.e. chairs, tables, TVs, desktop computers, etc.)

  • Bedding

  • Pots and pans (no crackpots, please)

  • Pets (no dogs, cats, fish, etc. are permitted)

  • Wall-hanging decor or pictures (personal pictures can be placed in frames on bedside tables)

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind

  • Inappropriate materials or clothing (anything displaying/suggesting/promoting sexual content or drug use)

  • Products containing alcohol (i.e. mouthwash, hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, cleaning products)

*You are liable for any game consoles you choose to bring to any Rocky Mountain Sober Living home. We also provide a community computer laptop for you to access the internet for employment. 

**RMSL has a landline phone, but we highly recommend bringing your own cell phone as it will make coordinating for job interviews and securing employment much easier.
